About Nick
I’m Nick — an experienced singing and guitar teacher with over 30 years in music, performance and coaching. Alongside my music career, I’m also a trained executive coach, which means I bring a calm, confidence‑building approach to every lesson, helping students feel grounded, supported and able to grow at their own pace.
Before teaching, I spent many years as a professional singer, guitarist and performer. I’ve been signed to major record labels, toured across Europe, and performed at venues including Wembley Arena, the O2, the Millennium Stadium and Hampton Court Palace. I’ve appeared in West End productions such as Grease and Mamma Mia, and played guitar for Shania Twain at the San Remo Festival.
Today, I bring all of that experience into a relaxed, supportive teaching style that helps students grow at their own pace — whether you’re a complete beginner or preparing for something big.

How lessons work
A simple, supportive structure that helps you grow.
1. Connection
A relaxed chat to understand your goals, experience and confidence level. No pressure, no judgement — just a chance to get to know each other.
2. Foundations
We explore technique gently: breathing, tone, posture, habits, range, rhythm and musicality. For guitar, we build your style through chords, strumming, lead playing and simple theory.
3. The Song
You choose a song you love. We workshop it together — phrasing, emotion, delivery, confidence.
This is where the magic happens.

If you’re writing your own music, I can help you shape your ideas, develop your sound and record a polished demo in my home studio.
Perfect for beginners, returning musicians or anyone wanting to capture their song professionally without the pressure of a big studio.

Pricing blocks: £30 — 30 minutes / £50 — 1 hour
Online or in‑person. Suitable for adults, teens and beginners of all ages.
Your First Lesson
Your first session is calm, friendly and pressure‑free. We talk, explore your voice or guitar playing, and find out what you want from music. You don’t need to prepare anything — just bring curiosity and a song you enjoy.
My job is to help you feel comfortable, supported and inspired.

Location
Lessons take place in my home studio in Chertsey, Surrey.
